Personal Care Assistant/PCA/Caregiver Role At-A-Glance:
Job type: Part time, with potential to grow to full time or apply for a salaried role with part- or full-time hours after 90 days.
Compensation: Starts at $20/hour, paid weekly via direct deposit, with shorter shifts paying up to $30/hour. We pay more than our competitors because we have high standards for the reliability and care we provide our clients.
Hours: Flexible, varying from one hour up to 24 hours based on your availability. We prioritize consistent staffing where you are assigned the same clients with the same schedule week-to-week.
Provide attention to clients’ non-medical needs, including companionship and social engagement.
Provide personal care to clients as needed.
Assist clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation and medication reminders.
Use strong communication to establish a professional relationship with clients, family members and coworkers.
An ability to provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts is essential.
Competitive pay starting at $20-$30 per hour, depending on shift length (training shifts paid at $15, shifts that are 4 hours paid at $20, 2-3 hr shifts paid at $25, 1 hour shifts paid at $30)
Weekly pay via direct deposit
Paid orientation and training
Time-and-a-half pay for overtime and holidays
Flexible hours
Veteran owned and operated (we frequently work with veterans, and military spouses who work at SYNERGY may transfer to any other location if restationed)

Experience in home care or home health agency
Demonstrated compassion and commitment to providing excellent care
Demonstrated record of prompt, consistent attendance
Candidate must be able to work shifts in Eagan, West Saint Paul, Inver Grove Heights, Mendota Heights, Bloomington, Rosemount, Farmington, Minnesota.
Ability to operate a motorized vehicle and reliable transportation
Physical requirements: Use of hands, wrists and fingers; ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds; ability to bend, twist and stoop
